I have shot a lookbook for a designer, who chose the model.

Now, retouching the images, I have noticed that towards the end of a look, the model's hands turned red.

Guessing from standing and the blood filled her hands, giving her the saturated appearance.

Her legs are also reddish, while her face, arms, neck and shoulders have a natural skin tone.

I have tried to change the levels, using ACDSee Ultimate Pro 9, which is a rather new program for me... but if I reduce the red level, the hands turn just gray, as there seems to be no other color to be part of her hands, e.g. orange and yellow tones on her arms in addition to some red-levels.

I want to change the hands before I submit the finished work...

Can anybody help with some suggestions?

Thanks!

I lost all my bookmarks in an SSD crash a couple months ago, but this is basically the technique.

Thank you John!

The problem is that the fingers are just red and are not just blotchy red, with natural skin tone in between.

E.g. the legs... if I isolate them and would remove the red tone completely, I am getting a solid grey tone... and if I move the slider to the opposite side, it literally looks like the model is wearing a solid red panty hose... no other color showing.

It really sucks!

The easiest way would be just to shift the hue of the reds in ACR on a duplicate layer and mask it in.
Here I spent maybe 30 sec.

Holy shit... that was simple... thank you so much again... took me a few seconds in ACDSee!!!

You can't believe how happy I am with this!!! smile

Here is a quick comparison... the actual work will be done even better:
