I want to set a focus point and have it stay there. I'm using the menu to select a Home Point but the focus point jumps all around at random.

It's been a while since I used a PEN-F. But if memory serves, you need to go into the function menu, or whatever Olympus calls the regular operations menu, and change AF to single point.

Once you do that, you can pull the menu back up and use the four way controller to change AF points. I'm pretty sure there is a button that can be mapped to bring up AF point selection.

Again, keep in mind I last used the camera some time ago.

Thank you, both.  I received responses here much more quickly than on another site.

It turns out that the "AF Targeting Pad" must be set to "Off".  When I put the view finder up to my eye, my face was hitting the touch screen at random.  I had turned it off but somehow it got turned back on.
