I have been in the industry for a few years now and i think the best way i learn is brutal honesty from others, so long as they at least give a reason for the critique they give. I have pretty thick skin, so I'm looking forward to what you guys think.

Motivational element latent within this critique? To generate a viable revenue stream...

In our industry Tear Sheets trump everything... period!
Might consider adding these to your portfolio

Second issue: Why don't you have a commercial web portal?

As for your recent work?

Excellent illumination, albeit cropping leaves something to be desired...
Canon's 17-50mm would not have been a first choice here... at least you were using a Canon EOS 60D (small-sensor) toward this zoom's long end thus making it a 77mm full frame equivalent here...
Headshots typically are done with at least 85mm to 135mm... many prefer even longer focal lengths for a myriad of reasons...

btw, Headshots, especially Corporate Headshots are a stellar source of revenue...
Would strongly encourage you to move in that direction in as Vancouver is a major market for the aforementioned...

Hope this helps...
Thank you for sharing...
