Hello everyone!

I am fairly new to the modeling world (and MM), and am looking for critiques on my MM portfolio. I am starting to book more photoshoots, and I am wondering which images you all think are the weakest/strongest and why.

I am really interested in pursuing editorial work, but lately I have been told that I have the right "look" for pin up. I am unsure if this is accurate or not, being that I have never done pin up before. If you have any thoughts on this, I would really appreciate it!

You can find my MM portfolio here: https://www.modelmayhem.com/3926226
If you're interested in seeing all of my photos for comparison with what I have on MM: www.facebook.com/AnnieLeeDCX

Thank you all very much. Have a great day!

I agree, your features and curvy figure would be a good fit for pinup themes. If you do decide to explore a pinup theme, make sure to do some homework and look at expressions, poses and hand positioning.

As for your current look, I prefer you black hair compared to your blonde hair. Black looks more natural on you and is also quietly striking. It's obvious you are having fun and exploring different concepts in your portfolio. You might ask some opinions about the photos on your Facebook page and consider updating your Mayhem port. I think these two photos are better than what you have in your portfolio currently.

You have a few redundant images currently. Try to select the best photo of a series. I think these two are the best of their respective series. Consider removing the others from the series.

Work on expanding your range of expressions. They are fairly similar at the moment.

This shot is great. I like the subtly sinister look in your eyes.

Keep at it and keep having fun. :-)

Thank you Kris! I appreciate the feedback, and I agree that I need to work on my expressions more, and will definitely make a stronger effort to do so. Thank you as well for pointing out which photos you felt were strongest; I was having trouble picking what I thought was best from the set, so that input helped me a lot.

Ditto on Kris' choices. Also, watch out for shots that cut off fingers, toes, hands or feet. Cosplay is another choice for you as well as glamour. Your figure will get their attention but great expressions sell the shot.

All the best and have fun!

Thank you Howard! I didn't even notice that some of the shots cut off like that. Will definitely be more aware of that in the future big_smile

I actually started making a cosplay for Comic Con; I used to do it all of the time, so it definitely made me smile to hear you say that.

Thanks again!

Those ghoulish shots are the best for several reasons, but mostly your hair, the photography, and your makeup.  I think Taragon has insight. Cosplay may be the way to go.  You might want to specialize as a kind of an Elvira character.
