I got a vintage Polaroid 180 a while back... as luck would have it, around the same time they stopped making film for it. To make thinks worse, my kids knocked it over one day and damaged the parallelogram so it no longer focuses evenly.

So two questions really...

Is it worth fixing? I keep hearing about other companies (Impossible Project) trying to fill the void to manufacture pack film but seems like a limited and pricey option.

If so, where, who would fix an antique like this without charging an arm and two legs?

My initial reason for getting it was for type 55 film... seemed like a magic way to get a large format neg.

There is a repair specialist available (available parts) -- see the Ebay Poloriod section

They seem to be worth keeping

if you can't shoot with it  (no film)- why does it matter if the focus is off?

- and type 55 film P/N is 4x5 sheet, not pack film

Well there is still film out there for it. Fuji ended their pack film production but there is still film available. My batches have expiration dates in 2018. Buy some and enjoy it while you can.

If you can't find someone to fix it I'll fix the parallelogram for $50.00 but you have to pay the mail both ways.
