Because there is no rule that says you can't, many photographers do it because they like it, and it is also my preferred style.  Thanks for the feedback.

I like 2 and 4. I love the pose and expression of 4 - it's very flattering. I like the styling less though, I'd have preferred neutral colors (like In 5). Maybe try black and white for this one...?
