Is it just me, or, the trend on skin is moving to show texture as opposed to totally smoothing out.

Or, maybe I'm only seeing it because in the last few months, that's become my preference.  Back in the day, I'd use negative clarity or some gaussian blurring.  Nowadays, I prefer the look of just healing what needs healed, blending some of the blotchiness. and d&b for extra highlights/shadows.  It takes a little longer (sometimes a lot longer), but, it's more pleasing to me.

Correct, but is not moving now, it has been going on that direction for more than 3 years now. Less is more!
