Do many here use it?  Like it or hate it over a 3rd party solution?

Pro's / Con's?

Haven't felt the need to use anything else since before Win2k, unless you need shared access or anything fancy like that.

I kinda do brute force + Windows 10.  I have 3 puters, including one Surface.  Windows 10 has features that distribute any settings changes or bookmarks or such across all my computers, plus their OneDrive is a cloud disk drive that is accessible from any of my computers.  I've organized my sensitive / personal data into local folders, and I can choose which folders I share or sync across the computers.  (I don't trust my most sensitive data to any cloud device).  That way, for example, if I take my Surface out in the world, I'm not taking my Quicken data out there as well.  (In fact, there is very little personal data on my Surface).

I like to think that I've covered if my primary computer dies out -- I have a backup computer, and pretty much think that I won't miss a beat when I switch to the backup computer -- I can keep working on my critical work projects.

So, no, I don't use any Remote Desktop application.  I figure I have more control my way.

We have one user that uses GoToMyPC for her remote in when she's at home.  Plant Mgr wants connectivity while on the road or at home, so I'm experimenting with Winows RD -vs- a 3rd party.
