Responding to Models
Any advice on how you generally respond to models who may have applied to a casting call, but don't meet your requirements or you are not going to select them? I tend to be a bit frank, and don't want to offend anyone. Any ideas? Thanks, May 07 17 03:38 pm Link Most people don't respond at all to those who don't make the cut If you feel the need to say something Keep it as simple and non specific as possible "Thanks, The position has been filled" May 07 17 03:43 pm Link Thank you for your application, the position has been filled. Thank you for your interest, the job has been booked. Thank you for your interest, you do not meet the requirments of XXX. Thank you for your introduction, we are going in another direction with this project. May 08 17 09:02 am Link Thank you for expressing your interest. I can't use you for this project, but you may fit my needs for a future project. Have a great day! May 08 17 11:09 am Link Depends.. I usually tell them I am waiting for all the interested to respond and I will contact them if they are the chosen one. If they clearly don't qualify I tell them so up front, i.e. my posting says no tattoo's and they have tattoo's. May 08 17 11:42 am Link I'd respond much like when I'm hiring personnel - "The position has been filled". I never explain why someone wasn't hired as that is just asking for an additional conversation I don't want to have. May 09 17 05:08 am Link Thanks. Appreciate the replies! May 09 17 08:53 am Link |
