As a teenager, Janine de Greef helped downed Allied airmen escape Nazi-occupied France during World War II.   She passed away recently.  Her story is inspirational.

I read things like this and wonder... do we have people like her living among us?

Or is that kind of bravery, self sacrifice a thing of the past?
