What's the deal with people farting on set lately and not saying anything or having the decency to step away to do the deed? I feel like this is something that started after the pandemic. Some sort of "woke" culture? I don't know but it's getting old as a rotten egg.

A couple recent examples...shooting some executive portraits me and my assistant were waiting in a conference room for the next exec and I'm in the driver seat doing some edits when he just lets rip and exclaims "Uhhh.. whew!" He even lifted his leg like a dog all dramatic. Must have left some splatters in his draws. I'm like wtf dude? He just starts laughing talking about what he ate for breakfast.

It was disgusting in that closed room and I've got an exec coming in a couple minutes! Thank God he was delayed for long enough for the room to air out. I just kept thinking of what I would say if he walked in to that stench. "Excuse us we didn't expect you so soon." I mean what do you say? My assistant (first and last time I use him) just thought it was hilarious for some reason.

But it's not just juvenile male behavior. I had a model in studio shooting a test a few weeks ago. She was on set and I was circling her making some lighting adjustments when I caught a foul odor. It's shocking to me a woman can even do that. Well I had just about enough of this bs so I flat out said to her "Hey did you just fart?" To her credit she fessed up to it then goes into this whole thing about how you shouldn't hold back farts for health reasons and about how for too long men have been the only ones who can fart in public and women have to be "the little princess". She literally said not to fart in public is "female repression". Huh?

I also not long ago walked into a make up artists room which was off set while she was between models. What I walked into burned my eyes. Granted she was alone for a few minutes and I walked in on her but what happened to excusing yourself to the bathroom??? I immediately covered my face with my palm and turned to walk out. It was like tear gas. As I'm leaving she just says "Whoops".

So I don't know what's going on and maybe I'm just old school. But if you people want to let rip on set don't do it on my watch. I don't know if I need to start putting this in the production book or contract or what. But it's not cute. Have some decency and go get woke where I can't smell it.

I have to wonder why you twice blamed people who are woke?  You don't understand what woke means because you are wrapped up in the abusive behavior of those that bemoan polite conduct by pushing a demeaning characterization of cultured behavior?  You were correct when you called the public farting and the accompanying display of raising the leg as juvenile behavior.  Although, you were too narrow when you called the action male juvenile behavior if females in your orbit are doing it as well.

What woke behavior is- despite the vilifications from the right- is to treat people decently, which hardly seems like the wrong thing to do with people.  The petulant behavior of passing of gas as you are describing is a rejection of social norms- what used to be called good etiquette.  They are norms which have been repudiated by those lacking dignified attributes and those rejecting politically correct constructs.  Which groups of people routinely reject social norms which are based on being considerate and/or engage in objectionable behavior to show the rest of us that their freedoms supersede common decency?  It is not the people that are normally denigrated by the cretins who adopted and abuse the term woke.  It is the insecure and deplorable underbelly of society that bullies people by badgering them by registering and repeating, ad nauseam, juvenile names for other people.  It is those losers who knowingly lie and attack people on immigration status despite the known fact that our neighbors entered the country legally.  It is the people who are trying to tear down society- at least where there are any vestiges that are represented through debonair qualities and common decency.

When there are large gatherings of people which tend to laugh at and mock people that are outside of their repressive culture group, who are those poorly behaved individuals and who are they worshipping?  It isn't considerate people and they aren't worshipping Christ!  If they aren't middle school brats, they are the anti-woke.  They are those that reject Christian teachings while claiming they adhere to them.

Your model that called it female repression was more right than wrong.  However, just because some men are crass enough to act without considerations for others is not an excuse for others to do so.  We are going to lower the bar because rude and socially inept men relish causing discomfort by passing their odiferous, noxious, alkane hydrocarbons for a laugh?  We would agree on that as inappropriate behavior as based on your demand that people don't do it on your watch and your proclamation that you won't work with the offending assistant again.

When you say, "Have some decency and go get woke where I can't smell it," it is an indication that your political and social leanings are in conflict with the behavior of the people you are politically associated with.

Before you bitch at me for interjecting politics- even though I didn't name the disgusting, fat, lard assed leaders that encourage replacing polite social conventions with nastiness, bigotry and doltish behavior- remember that woke is a political term which you improperly and needlessly brought into the conversation.  Woke is also a term being bandied about by people trying abuse and belittle others to score cheap points the with undereducated masses and lead the vacuous group against democracy, while their sociopathic leaders, being lead by the nose by the worst of humankind, abstain from developing meaningful positions and eschewing helpful, workable policies. 

You complain about discourteous and unsophisticated actions on the set with loutish and boorish expressions?  The anti-woke are exactly those who would 放屁* in your air space.
