About Me

Hello, fellow MM'ers! I've been on Model Mayhem a while as JD Crutchfield Photography, but I have new name now so it's time for a new look. I have quite a few years experience photographing models of all experience levels. As you can see, my specialty is glamour. I enjoy location shooting, but in-studio work is my favorite. I have Photoshop experience also, to make my photos look their best. Many of my photos here have 'virtual backgrounds', meaning I shot them against a plain (ugly) backdrop, then added new, more interesting backgrounds in Photoshop.

I am always looking for new models to shoot with, and I welcome requests for TFCD shoots. I consider myself a good photographer for beginning models, as I try not to be over-bearing or assuming, and put the model's comfort as top priority. Many first-time models I've worked with have commented how comfortable the were working with me.

I look forward to meeting many new models here and creating lots of amazing new photos together. I also look forward to getting to know other photographers, learning from them and benefiting from their knowledge and experience.
