I've been in this "business" (the quotes are there because I consider myself an amateur, albeit a serious one) for over three years and have enjoyed every minute of it. My portfolio reflects what I consider to be my representative work, not necessarily my best work (I'm still working on that). I may be an amateur, but I treat my models professionally and expect the same treatment from them. With the exception of a few models, all of them have dealt with me in that manner. The ones who haven't, I don't bother with again.
My goal is to shoot women beautifully. I prefer to work with models who want to create art and will work with me to exchange ideas on how to make the session lead to that end. I will work with inexperienced models, if I believe their look can enhance my portfolio and I am a very patient person behind the camera.
If I contact you, I expect a response, even if it's "don't bother me; I don't care for your work". I'll try a model twice, just in case they've been too busy the first time, but that's all folks. I have more than enough models that I'm happy working with to have to deal with the hassle of the inconsiderate ones.
I enjoy trying to create art. I believe that I have created some fine work, but am still learning and believe that I will continue to learn how to do that for the rest of my life. But I'm no longer anxious to work with just anyone. So enjoy my portfolio or not, work with me or not, either way I will be content with myself and happy to continue to learn how to get better.
As a serious amateur, I don't expect to get paid. If you want to work with me, recognize that I'll gladly do photos for you on a TF* basis. If you want to get paid, I'm willing to do that, but only reasonable rates unless you're really, really good and I really, really want to work with you. This doesn't apply to models I've worked with in the past with whom I'll gladly work again. They're worth (all but a few) what I paid them and those that know I value them will know that I'm quite willing to fund my hobby. At some point, I'm going to put up on this profile the models I've really enjoyed working with and whom I believe will reciprocate the feeling. That's only fair. Models do this for photographers all the time.
If you've worked with me and you aren't represented in my portfolio, that's not a criticism of you. It may mean only that I'm not happy with the photos that I took and consider that to be my failure, not yours. Or it may mean that I just haven't gotten around to deciding which are the best photos to post of our session. I am picky that way.
Contact me through this site. I wasn't getting messages for a while, but the moderator has fixed that problem and now I am. I hope to hear from you, if you want to work with me and hope that I have adequately reflected the beauty of the women I've photographed in the portfolio that I have posted to date. I plan to overhaul my portfolio in the coming months, to update it and refresh it so that I can get new models represented.

"He gave me plenty of room to be creative, and I love what we came up with together! The conversation and company was good and so was the work! Haha. It was a great time!"
