About Me

Brock was one of the higher achieving students in the Bachelor of Photography program for 2012, with a major in creative advertising, at the Queensland College of Art. He initially began his university studies in Architecture however transitioned into photography in 2008.

During his final year of study, Brock continued his professional development by assisting a number of commercial photographers and photographic studios throughout Brisbane.

His own work has received recognition both in Australia and overseas. Collaborations with a few of his most recent fashion clients include: Dally’s Models, HAN, George Wu, SOOT and Sharka Bosakova. Most recently his work has been published in QUT’s annual publication, Frock Paper Scissors.

Brock is continuing to push the creative boundaries and develop skills that entice the aspirations of the collaboration of the artists and subjects he photographs. He has a passion for shooting fashion and portraiture; capturing structured images, which convey style and simplicity.

Brock was selected to be an intern to Guy Gowan, an internationally renowned Photoshop guru. As a result, he is able to utilise image post-production strategies, which are highly desirable within the photographic community.
