After a rather long hiatus, I'm ready to take up modeling again! I wanted to take a break so I could really focus on finishing college and finding work, and now both are done so I can finally working modeling back into the picture!

Here's a bit about me...

I'm totally new to modeling and as is probably evident, I'm not Barbie. But I would love to bring a more realistic, modest beauty to the public eye and I hope that I can encourage others to feel confident about themselves, no matter what they look like. :) In fact, I think this makes me stand out in an industry that pushes women--and men, too--to be overexposed and all about obvious sex appeal. Sometimes, I think the most alluring pictures--in sensual and other ways--are the subtle, honest ones, and I hope to grow in my ability to achieve that in my images.

I just graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Sciences. I love theatre and art of all sorts! Really, at this point I'm up for building my portfolio and yours and seeing where that goes! Portraits, Print work, editorial, I'M OPEN. I'm learning! I also do some acting--film and stage--so I'm looking to get some great headshots and to learn how to use my acting experience in modeling.

I'd would love to do a shoot with extreme face makeup! Hair too! And it'd be awesome to do a shoot with at least one other model to interact with. I just want to get creative! :)

From a recent message I sent...
"Aside from creating art in general, I specifically want to bring a new sort of perception of beauty to the table--one that's real and imperfect--because that's what real beauty is. Sure, some are more aesthetically pleasing than others and they are the ones more likely to reach fame and fortune. But, that is incredibly rare; most will not reach that easily. I fall into that latter group and I'm totally ok with that!

What we're most familiar with is our imperfections and our daily life--not glamour. And though I find beauty in the gorgeous Barbie and Ken dolls out there like everyone else, I'm more intrigued by the beauty found in everyday people and everyday life--because beyond the "everyday", everyone has something extraordinary about them! :)"

I can't afford to pay much, if anything, as I am a recent graduate and my first priority has been college--keeping my grades up and my scholarships intact while enjoying the experience. But if you're willing to TFCD/TFP, I'd love to work with you and I'll do my best to be a benefit to us both!
