Born in Fairfield, CA Joanna was discovered while out with friends in Sacramento in 2007. Joanna was requested to audition for Don King Productions as a ring card girl. Quickly becoming a crowd favorite at the fight she was selected to travel across country to audition for the Trinidad vs. Jones Jr. fight at Madison Square Garden but decided to stay in California to learn more about the business and finish college. While at school a local club promoter approached her with the idea of doing alcohol promotions at his club. Upon arrival for the first event the Hennessy rep took one look at Joanna and made her an official Hennessy Model for 2007-08.

After hosting number of bay area events Joanna was able to catch the attention of the owners of Nuvo landing a position as a national model for the brand. Many people would consider Joanna a breath of fresh air simply bringing new life to photos capturing her exotic look. She has graced the cover of What's the Juice Magazine as well as featured in Skinnie, 944 and Ozone Magazine. Fresh off the National Dub Car Show Tour as a featured model Joanna is quickly becoming one of the most sought after fresh faces in the entertainment industry. Often mistaken for a number of ethnic backgrounds Joanna proudly represents her Mexican American culture and looks to the future with goals to becoming a global icon.
