Hello everyone,

Thank you for checking out my work. I am a traditionally trained painter, illustrator and art director and I've recently adapted my style and technique to the digital world. At the moment, my art is for non-profit purposes only. I do it because I love it.

I begin by coming up with a concept for the artwork. I then collaborate with a great photographer who I've worked with for the past few years to bring it to life in the studio. The model is obviously a huge part of this. After shooting some great reference I pick up a pencil and draw the composition on paper before scanning the drawing and "painting" it in Photoshop.

I believe in attention to detail in everything from wardrobe and props to makeup and set design. The model should not just pose but assume a role as an actor would. When we approach a photo shoot, we have our own ideas in mind and will give direction as needed but we also love our models to bring something of themselves to the shoot. It makes it fun for all of us and sometimes we come up with something unplanned that is just what the doctor ordered. If you like what you see here, I'd love to hear from you.
