About Me

It started with a Kodak Instamatic. Progression came soon though the Zorki 4K - a Leica look-a-like (or look-a-Leica?) then on to Pentax and Olympus OM through Patterson tanks filled with ID-11 and a long stretch of more hardware into the digital age.

Always naturalistic, always a challenge and plenty of cheek with a determination to sit on the top of the rut of life rather than roll along at the bottom of it. Photography captures a moment or expression but is an expression in itself for me.

The drive for revenue has passed as has my youth so now I can shoot for what I beieve in rather than a signature on a cheque. Increasingly concerned with charity fund-raising, photography is giving me a greater chance to give.

Experimenting with 3D video in a glamour context at the moment. The models are having fun, the results are improving with time and the commercial prospects are undiminished. This could become a core revenue stream before the end of the calendar year.

In stills, addressing the themes of exhibitionism and jeopardy. These are coming along very well with deadlines being well beaten so that much of the work will be completed in time for yet another holiday before October.

Sunshine, summer, green grass, blue sky - the perfect recipe for pictures. Trying to make full use of a lovely outdoor location near Romford, Essex.

Budgets are reasonable, clients are very reasonable and the economic downturn is not apparent, thankfully.

Many models not bothering to reply to offers. No loss to me, of course. Money which remains in my pocket just goes towards more holidays! One model to avoid is 'Electrica '
