This is the section where I'm supposed to talk up my "artistic talents and such"..Yeah Right!

"Talent" is a combination of creativity, hard work, and persistence crashing headlong into circumstance, and capturing a split instance of time where we momentarily obtain and record perfection, no matter how fleeting. I might very well be extremely talented, but to be honest I'll never really know, because I'm too hard working and persistant to ever stop trying for perfection, however unobtainable that may be.

I come from a mixed background. I had formal teaching in photography, but quickly learned that creativity can't be taught, it comes from within. So while I probably should have followed through and got the official degree to show that I can sit, stay, and beg upon command, I confess I became tired of instructors trying to push my artistic vision into the mold they felt it should fit into. "You should try to shoot more like Ansel Adams...blah!"

What I can offer to models wishing to shoot is that I will spend more time shooting, retouching, and striving for perfection than I probably ought to. Because you never know which click of the shutter might just take your breath away.
