For Chabella Gomez, fashion was love at first sight. Born into a family of Dominican and Spanish descent in the Dominican Republic. Her family moved to Connecticut when she was very young. As a young girl, she dabbed in a variety of art forms, finding a home in fashion. Growing up in a household where most of the women designed, sewed and styled their own wardrobes truly inspired her. Since then she passionately sought to learn everything related to fashion as an art form, and from a business standpoint. Chabella obtained a Business Degree and pursued a career in business and marketing. During this time she still kept in touch with what she loved by designing for personal acquaintances and clients, to build a personal portfolio. Upon graduating from college she moved to Miami, Florida, where she attended private couture classes while still working for personal clients and working full time. Four years later, she returned to the Northeast and settled in New York where got accepted to the Fashion Institute of Technology and continued to expand her fashion knowledge ever since. Currently, Chabella is working diligently to grow and develop her lifelong passion into a label that not only makes women feel confident and beautiful but also special.
