Ruben G Marquez was born in 1990 to immigrant parents. Raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles he received a private education for the first prominent years of his life. As a teenager he found himself in the company of music. His various loves and hobbies were always centered on art. In his early college years he first began to experiment in photography. With a camera in hand he found his true passion and calling in life.
As a photo illustrator his vision is to be the ultimate bridge between fine art and commercial photography. He strives to break down the negative connotation against digital media. Freedom from expectations allows him to evolve within his art. With his final vision in mind, he sits and focuses all his energy to composite the ultimate hyper surreal image. His imagery forged from the depths of his dreams and nightmares will leave you feeling like you have entered the world of tonic bliss.
Ruben currently resides in San Francisco where he attends the Academy of Art University.
