My name is Katherine Chivers, I am a Staffordshire based photographer.

I became interested in photography at the age of fourteen as at the age of thirteen I attempted to take my own photograph's of myself. I originally had the dream of being a model but later decided that it was not enough.

As I uploaded more images from my 'not so professional' point and shoot camera, I developed a love of being behind the camera, creating other peoples memories and dreams.

At the age of sixteen I finished school and recieved my first DSLR (Canon 1000D) from my mother for achieving the grades I needed to be accepted into college. I studied Photography at Stoke-on-Trent College and successfully completed the course at the age of eighteen.

I would say that Photography is my life and I know it always will be, there is no doubt about that.

I aim to create very unique images and to capture special memories for others, as memories are one of the most important qualities of life.
