Husam “Sam” Salman

Husam (Sam) Salman is an Iraqi born designer who immigrated to the United States at a very young age to proudly become an American Designer. At a young age (7yrs old), Husam started designing dresses for his sister’s Barbie dolls, which eventually led to him designing a new outfit for school every day in High School. Both the feedback and inspiration of design at this time in his life lead Husam to further his education in both the design and business arenas.
After a few years working for other labels, Husam started Horse of Arabia – a menswear line. “This line is designed around our boyfriends, our guy friends and their buddies – – clothing for the guys’ guy. He likes to look good, fashionable, but not a slave to the rhythm. He likes quality and fit as well as realistic prices; he loves travelling, sports, and the great outdoors. He lives a dynamic life. He is your BFF, brother, father, friend and ‘boyfriend," commented Husam. Over the years, Husam’s professional career has allowed him to create garments for celebrities in for the film, television and music industries. (He has dressed such noteworthy individuals as: Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling, Britney Spears, Heidi Klum, Katy Perry Celo Green, and Ke$ha - just to name a few)

"It was my first time modeling for undergarments. We communicated effectively before the shoot. The place was professionally set up and I was very comfortable working with him. We had a professional Japanese MUA Kodo Nishimura other excellent photographers. Sam's designs were very creative and unique, and he directed some photos and videos too. It was TFP project and I got a very lovely Men's Underwear as a gift :)" Read less
