Determined to make her mark in the media industry, Asha Joy is a continuous work in progress. Model, correspondent, journalist, and producer, Miss Joy is well on her way to obtaining longevity in the media entertainment industry.

While receiving her B.S. in Journalism at Lincoln University, Asha was a campus favorite as the face of the Mass Communications Department. Her top-rated radio show, Miss Joy’s Early Morning Experience, lead her to interview celebrity musical artists including T-Pain, Fabolous, Nicki Minaj, comedian Bill Cosby, among many others. Asha also served as a guest correspondent for the campus talk show program, LUV-Lincoln University Viewpoints. Furthermore, Asha has contributed reports to The Voice of Philly, Positive Black News, and proficientjay.com, interviewing celebrities including Alexa Vega, Bobbe J. Thompson, Monica, and Roscoe Dash.

While Asha served as talent for many productions, she also has a passion for being behind the camera. She has worked on productions with media conglomerates including Lions Gate Entertainment and Viacom, and boutique agencies including Dreaming Tree Films and WJC Productions.

Outside of the entertainment world, Asha devotes her time to many charitable organizations. She has traveled abroad to numerous countries including Kenya, Malaysia, and Australia to contribute to the growth and development of underprivileged communities. Her most recent project took place in Kenya (Summer 2011) where she assisted in the renovation and construction of an orphanage. Asha also serves as a role model to the young girls at her church, community, and schools. She frequently returns to her roots for motivational speaking engagements.

Asha is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a graduate of Lincoln University in Oxford, PA.
