I've done a fair bit of catwalk stuff in the past, but it's only been the past year that I've really gotten into photoshoots. I moved to a new town and made friends with the owner of a local retro and pin-up clothes shop and her partner, a professional photographer and shortly after won a modelling competition there for a free full photoshoot. Since then, I've done quite a lot of modelling work for them - shows, promotional events and photoshoots. I've been in local magazines and used as an advert.
I even made it to the final of the international Miss Iron Fist 2012 (an alternative clothes and shoes company) competition!

My style is retro, pin up and rock, which I adore - and suit well. I do have a couple of tattoos and plans for more, but all in places that can easily be covered up if need be. My other passions are gymnastic pole dancing and rock music. I've been pole dancing for three years to an advanced level, as well doing shows and working as a teaching assisstant in a beginners class. I've also incorporated it into shoots in the past and would love to do more.
I've joined because I'm moving to Manchester, and so away from all my modelling contacts, but I've enjoyed myself so much the past year that I want to keep it up and make new contacts nearby and expand my portfolio. I'm quite happy to keep it casual and work for free - I have a day job, but any experience at all would be really helpful.
