A number of conservatives would argue that makeup creates a false sense of reality by masking one’s imperfections. Jam would like to believe that makeup was made for the purpose of enhancing beauty and bringing out the inner self. Jam Padilla received her training in Makeup Artistry from the Center for Aesthetic Studies in Manila. Her interest in make up started early and by the time she was a student at the De La Salle University, that interest had grown into the makings of a possible career.

Today, Jam is a fresh addition to the MUA (make up artist) scene. While she's already done with formal training, the interest, the practice, and the learning goes on with every opportunity that presents itself.
