Hi! My name is Manuel Alexandre Varela Cruz, and I was born in A Coruña, Spain. From an early age I was attracted to painting and art in general. It was through my passion for drawing, studying a Degree in Graphic Design at the Escola de Arte e Superior de Deseño Pablo Picasso in A Coruña, when I felt a special interest in photography. This interest led me to train in the Higher Degree Program in Photography, Film and Television at the Imaxe e Son School in A Coruña. I expanded my knowledge with the Master in Art and Communication in ACME Apple Authorized Training Center in Santiago de Compostela. To finish my apprenticeship, I studied the Degree in Communication at the UOC Open University of Catalonia based in Barcelona.

I started my professional career in 2011 as a freelance photographer, and as a photojournalist starting at La Opinión A Coruña. Throughout these years I have been combining photography and freelance graphic design, with the work of photojournalist and sports photographer for agencies and national and international media. I am currently part of the Juve Multimedia audiovisual project.

My main skills are photography of events and sports, recording and video editing, graphic design of corporate image and web development.

My objectives are to deepen in the cinematographic production, the advertising creation, the photography of fashion, the reports of trips, and mainly, to know people to create memories capturing their histories.

The development of your project will begin to shape your dreams, ranging from the capture of photographic images, giving life and rhythm with audiovisual pieces, simplifying what you want to express with graphic design, and it will continue forever on the Internet at a click of anybody, encompassing the whole process.

I firmly believe in the power of the image, a bond of union without conditions and generator of emotions that open all doors.
