Morgan Camper Bio:

 

Morgan Danielle Camper was born and raised in Baltimore Maryland where she began pursuing her love for dance at the young age of 4. She studied tap, ballet, jazz, and modern dance at Flair Dance studio and the Baltimore School for the Arts’ T.W.I.G.S program.   She later attended The Baltimore School for the Arts for high school as a theatre major.
 
Morgan went on to attend Marymount Manhattan College in New York City where she became vice president of the Omicron Theta chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and president of the U-ACT (Uniting actors of color together) club. In 2011 She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre, and has had the opportunity to perform in a multitude of playsboth classical and contemporary throughout her college career .

 

Morgan now teaches theatre at Pimlico elementary/middle, and is the dance instructor at James Mchenry elementary/middle, and Flair dance studio. Along with performing in various plays throughout the DC metropolitan area. In October of 2013 she received the honor of being crowned Miss Maryland Intercontinental 2014. With a platform in arts education she volunteers twice a week a Mervo high school where she choreographs for the theatre department and is very active with her ministry in teaching liturgical dance at Good Shepard Baptist Church. Morgan is now eagerly preparing to compete this summer at nationals for the title of Miss United States Intercontinental 2014
