Or do you turn me off? I am not self-absorbed, nor do I think my time is too important for anyone. I just have a particular style that catches my eye... I go with what my gut has told me for who to work with, and it's been good to me so far. Yes I know it's sad, and probably cost me some good photos with some great photographers, but sometimes there are just a couple photos in one's port that would make me lean toward a no neutral

I will brush through your portfolio quickly and tell you which (if any) photos will make me want to work with you, and which ones turn me off.

I just saw Resident Evil, so I'll probably be staying up for a while to write back with my answers if anyone responds... Who knows; I may even tell you why!

This is targeted toward photographers, but models who would be curious to do a multiple subject(s) shoot can feel free to reply I guess smile

Now...

I managed to dream up a machine gun, so my zombie dreams weren't too bad.

I'd need to stand on my toes, and have you wear no shoes, but yes!! You are body conscious (meaning you know which orientation makes yourself look good) You express great control and versatility.

I see many different photos. By this, I mean expressions, and feels.. feels? Feelings! Nice smize smile (smile with eyes) I feel something real in this picture.

Thank you for obliging smile

First off, I see the stripper shoes. I forget what they're called... being nekkid doesn't really require me to know much about fashion haha! But I click anyway, because I like studio lighting!

I know I know.. just because I see a model wearing or doing a certain thing doesn't mean I have to do it or wear it too. It just opens my eyes as to what kinda stuff you're into.

Nothing in your portfolio is particularly eye catching. Like if I saw a bunch of random photos from random photographers in a line, I wouldn't be able to pick one of yours out of the bunch to say WOW!

https://modelmayhm-3.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/100919/08/4c96334cba5e8_m.jpg

Not really a fan of the angle here. I'm not exactly sure why, but I think it's the angle of the water ripples. I don't like how her hip/thigh is lighter than her face. A reflector here aimed at her face would really bring out this image.

What IS yours? o.O I'm confused by this comment. I remember the photographers I've worked with in the past, and none of them are you! Unless you're copyrighting an idea...

Are you the photographer AKA MC Brown? That's the only one I do not have credits for because he(you?) deleted their MM#

Anywho...

This is what your port does to my heart:

Flatline BEEEEEEEP (that's my hospital heart monitor sound) until I get to...

Beep. (I like your field of depth on this one)

Technically I guess it's the silence that means you have a heartrate, but you get my point tongue

Doing a shoot with that blue lighting you have would be cool, but why would you want to do a shoot with me for something you already have in your port?

I couldn't say no right off, but I'd have to hear if your ideas are compelling enough first.

I see mostly the same expressions.

https://modelmayhm-4.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/100806/19/4c5ccaec34264_m.jpgThe caption 'huh?' screams out in my head when I see your face in this photo.

https://modelmayhm-4.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/100516/02/4befbeb8085eb_m.jpg

The one couple's shot you have in your port doesn't really show me that you can interact with whom you're with. I shouldn't be able to crop the other person out of the photo and not realize someone was meant to be there. Woah... double negatives ftl!

Yes because I don't have much (like, any) experience shooting with another model, so I'd say yes simply because of that fact alone.

Avatar doesn't jump out at me. I think you have better in your port that you could use!

I'm just gonna list all the yes's. Assume the rest are no.

https://modelmayhm-8.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/100803/16/4c58ab924126e_m.jpg
https://modelmayhm-8.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/100708/07/4c35e7200cd39_m.jpg Some may not like the darkness of the figure, but I think the overall composition works to convey this feeling I'm getting.
https://modelmayhm-8.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/100924/12/4c9cff1e29d10_m.jpg I like the camera angle here, but I would have liked to see more of the shadow.
https://modelmayhm-8.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/091123/17/4b0b39ae25615_m.jpg I don't like the vignettes (sp?) in the following two photos, but here it works nicely. The other photos it's too... obvious.
https://modelmayhm-8.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/100808/14/4c5f257812fd7_m.jpgSlight vignetting can work for the top area, but when it's on the floor like that, it's very distracting to the eye

https://modelmayhm-8.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/100601/17/4c05a858f17fa_m.jpg ^^^ I like this one...
https://modelmayhm-8.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/100720/05/4c45972415c23_m.jpg...more than this one... mainly because the window light is too bright in the second one. It doesn't feel right to me.

I don't see a point in keeping nearly two very similar photos in a port unless you were split on which to choose, and are basing that decision off of response---well now you have mine smile

https://modelmayhm-8.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/100813/14/4c65b8d1adc2e_m.jpg

I can tell that you know a thing or two about retouching (heck of a lot more than I do!) You've got some more yes photos, but I won't list them because the 'no' photos don't outweigh the yeses!

https://modelmayhm-9.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/100309/23/4b9747b21734b_m.jpg This would be the type of photo that would make me want to click your profile, and would make a better avatar.

I don't see me getting something I'd want out of the shoot, so I'm just gonna say no.

I already know yes. tongue

I remember you, and I remember listing one of your photos after your avatar caught my eye when I was going through friend requests. Finding a photographer I want to list is rare for me. I listed one of your saxamaphone pics.

Now... let's take a REAL look.

https://modelmayhm-5.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/070905/13/46deef7316134_m.jpg
You have a lot of pictures but don't NEED a lot. You have a lot of identical styles. For example, I'd pick out one of the saxophone pics that's your favorite and just use that. This one happens to be the one I like the most. I like how neither object in the picture dominates the other. They blend, and fit nicely together.

***18+***http://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/4988877
My focus is more sensual than sexual. Images that scream "Sex" to me are one's that turn me off... like this one. Sexual energy is different than just a sexual pic. The line is very fine, but it's there.

There are just a couple more images that turn me off, but in total I like what I see. If you asked me, I'd say yes!

I It's hard to get a basis on the way you shoot from fashion runway shots.

Nothing really particularly turns me on, but then again nothing is telling me "run away" either.

https://modelmayhm-4.vo.llnwd.net/d1/photos/100103/17/4b4145cd63290_m.jpg Doesn't look like it fits in with the rest of your photos. It's an awkward position that doesn't work. The awkwardness shows in the model's face.
