The painting is awesome, but the photo itself is just ok.  The set up looks very "home studio".

Yeah, it's the problem when you have a "static" object/subject", although one of our photo's was static as well, but it became the photo of the month of the World Body Painting Association and being displayed in a gallery in New Orleans and in Montreal (prints are being mounted while I am typing this.)

Sorry that I turned a studio shot into a "home studio shot" for your taste. sad




EDIT: I just looked at your profile and portfolio and I want to apologize if my words were too harsh/sarcastic, I had no idea I was responding to a beginner photographer. Good luck in expanding your horizon.
