Question about Bodypainting
Hi everyone! I hope someone can help me out! I would really like to know if there is something like catsuits in skin-colour or something available to apply bodypaintings on, preferably with a great fit cause I have a rather heavy bust that hurts if it doesn´t get support?! I would just hate it if someone sees me naked or applied colour to my private parts. I googeled around and didn´t find anything. Does anyone know a place to get that? I´d be very happy if someone can give me THE ultimate tipp cause I have such a cool idea that I´d love to realise. ;-) Hugs, Sari Feb 21 06 03:54 am Link Your Beautiful, I think you should forget the catsuit-and proudly "wear" the bodypaint! You will be amazed how well paint fits. Jon Feb 21 06 04:01 am Link You do see bodypainting pics in which the model is wearing a bikini or briefs. You can see the hems close up, but from a distance the effect is good. And it should be possible to take out any obtrusive edges in Photo Shop or Paint Shop Pro. I don't think you'd need a whole catsuit, though. Feb 21 06 04:36 am Link RED Photographic wrote: I had been thinking about this myself, but was too scared it shows too much in the pictures. But I will consider it if I don´t find another solution. :-) Feb 21 06 04:41 am Link Jon Pearson wrote: Thank you for your kind words :-) Feb 21 06 05:10 am Link You can also find a photographer who will agree to shoot it and keep it personal. Its all in the arrangement... Feb 21 06 06:15 am Link Well the thing is I wanna use them and I don´t mind the photographer to use the pics either. I found out an photographer I already worked with has experiece with bodypainting and has skills to fix seemable bra and pantylines. Now we just got to "design" the "clothes" :-) Thanks to everyone that tried to help! Sari Feb 21 06 08:21 am Link I saw this thread and thought I would ask. What type of "paint" is the best to use(and where to buy it) for bodypainting and what method is the best to apply it with-brush,roller,paint pad, etc. And how do you clean it up(off)the body?I would love to do a few with some models in solid colours such as silver, gold, white, black, etc so there is no need (or so I think)for any body painting specialists?Comments? Feb 21 06 08:29 am Link It is possible to paint over clothes when painting over skin, but do a test first as some fabrics will absorb the makeup and/or there could be a signifigant color shift. And to adress the last question, you may find it harder to do even a "simple" coverage over a whole body but if you are so inclined do a forum search for bodypaint and all of your questions should be answered. ~Rich Feb 21 06 10:23 am Link Hi, I love body painting and that started me on modeling. At first, yes it was odd to have the artist painted or touched your private. After a while I got used to it. They are prof people. They are not going to take advantage of me (for sure or I kick their ass). I don't think you can find a catsuit like you mention. If I can find any, I will let you know. Feb 21 06 10:28 am Link check out dance studios, my sister is a dancer ( not a stripper) a ballerian and she has had several "unitards" made for her. Most sudios have access to an awsome seamstress. an unitard is a writs to wrist, ancle to ancle full covered body suit. I acctually airbrushed with fabric paint i got her to put on the suit and the only thing she had to wait for the paint to dry. it it looks so beautiful i did a solar system on her body, we then took the design up onto her head face and hands and feet with body paint. i overlapped the suit and skin paint a bit and it looked awsome from the stage. I am sure if your working with a good photographer her or she can edit out the "seams" from the suit. huh i need to find this image. then i can show you. Feb 21 06 08:18 pm Link |
