Québec is living from tourism and public servants mainly. Just on Saturday walk, I crossed path with Chinese, Japanese, Lebanese, Indian, French and Ontarian tourists. And it's the 'dead' season

I know someone who loathes Quebec City from his experience there. I was fortunate to have had the opposite experience with people more then willing to speak English with me and not be rude and ignorant about it like so many are in Montreal. I got really overwhelmed because I needed to find a washroom, but I didn't know how to ask it. The guy was really nice about it.

Guess what!? I'm very sick. I'm not supposed to be on the computer, strict bed rest and no solid foods or else! Send me positive energy.

I'm not better, just going stir crazy. Tomorrow will be 4 wks. Four long weeks, but I feel bad complaining, so many people r so much sicker for so much longer. I think the real torture isn't as much of being sick as it is not knowing the seriousness of it all.

Yesterday I started looking on the bright side. I have done and am doing everything I possibly can, the rest is out of my hands. What's supposed to be will be. At least I have a couple true friends like you who always check in on me. Hugs!
