SNAP* is a monthly meet & greet and shootout PARTY dedicated to giving exposure to ALL talent. You can mingle, shoot, and share your ideas with each other! We welcome all levels of experience to join our monthly event set in a fun atmosphere. There's so much going on at SNAPM that it is entirely too much to explain... it's definitely something you need to check out for yourself!

SNAP* has featured models from all over the world, including Isreal and Ireland and more locally from states such as Florida, Massachusetts and various others. SNAP* diligently works with models to bring them to the area for each event!

SNAP* is held at Wilmer's STUDIO 6 (currently redesigned into a 6,000 square foot contemporary warehouse loft studio) Every month SNAPM contains: - Featured Models, Collaborative Photographers, Makeup Artists, Stylists and Designers giving them maximum exposure and offering you a chance to book and shoot with them. - Free shooting stations for FUN with dozens of models and photographers utilizing the space: - Various forms of entertainment which include, demonstrations, contests, games, prizes and runway shows. At SNAP events, DJ Solitude spins: trip-hop, downtempo, ambient electronica and other related genres. SNAPMUP has also developed VIP Shooting Sessions, Photo Scavenger Hunts and Demonstrations. March 26 is going to be a fun, hectic night. Usually ppl start piling in around 830. I suspect everyone will hang out in the lounge area until 9pm when Doe Deere does her makeup demonstration in the main room. Then the shooting begins. You can jump on a free station and have lots of photographers take pictures of you. SNAP* hands out free cards and pens so you can ask the photographers for contact information to get your images. Or you can sign up to shoot with a collab photog. During the night we have a bunch of fun things like contests and runway shows. We have a live DJ and a club-like environment as well. Most photographers release the large size images in the coming weeks. The photogs start uploading their watermarked images onto www.snapmup.com where you can pull the pix down and use them in your web portfolio. You can also contact the photogs through the contact cards handed out to get the larger resolution images as well.
As a recently added bonus: We will have an amazing MUA, Leslie set up in the makeup room along with Toxic Shock Clothing bringing in a rack of clothes to dress up in for select models!

NOTE: Continuous Lighting is available on our free-for-all stations. SNAP* does not recommend bringing any lighting equipment you need to plug into outlets. SNAP* DOES recommend bringing any ON-CAMERA lighting you may have. SNAP* and STUDIO 6 are not responsible for lost or damaged equipment.
All food and drink will stay in the 2,000 sq foot LOUNGE area as to not spill on any equipment. The LOUNGE area will not allow any filming or shooting as to not interfere with the mingling atmosphere.

The first exciting installment of SNAP*09 happens in a month!
SNAP* is quickly growing into the tri-state’s largest meetup/shootout event.
There are some great things in store for the next SNAP*

One of the best things for our event is the NEW Location!
SNAP* is now currently held at WILMER’S STUDIO 6!
STUDIO 6 has been newly redesigned into a 6,000 square foot contemporary warehouse studio loft! There are two large rooms to enjoy.  There is the 2,000 sq. ft. LOUNGE area to mingle, relax and network in and another 4,000 sq ft space to SHOOT. Inside the LOUNGE, there is also a makeup station while inside the shooting area there is now a small runway for fashion shows!

-    Come meet and mingle with SNAP*s FEATURED MODELS: Dina De Sade (FL), Rachael Dashae (VA), Miss Mary Leigh (NJ) and Kat Livingston (NY)

-    SNAP*s COLLABORATIVE PHOTOGRAPHERS (taking pictures that night on assigned sets) will be: Mojokiss (FL), Dastardly Dave (MA), Team Rockstar (NY), Glamourmaker (NJ), Dragon Ink & BlueBox (with Angel Photography) (NJ) and Imagione (NYC). Want a photo with these creative individuals? Then stop in and sign up to shoot with them during the event!

-    SNAP*s FEATURED PHOTOGRAPHERS (not shooting) Kencredible, Jeff Cohn of Xpose.net and Glenn Tuttle will be displaying their portfolios. Come meetup with them and schedule a future shoot!

-    Doe Deere of www.LIMECRIMEMAKEUP.com will be doing a LIVE Makeup Demonstration of her Cosmetics Line! LIME CRIME MU has amazingly brilliant highly pigmented colors, so bright, it’s a crime!

-    Rana X of Exploration B. will be featuring her decadent runway dresses with trains that go on for miles and miles…and miles! Come check out the runway show and book Exploration B. to style your next shoot!

-    You can now rent a shooting station with continuous lights for 15 minute integers for FREE! SNAP* recommends on-camera lights, but does not recommend bringing any lights you need to plug in.

-    We will have TOPLESS SUSHI Models at Midnight for pictures
-    Spliedt from PLASTICFLY.com will create a Custom Body Paint design on model Samantha Ann for pictures.
-    DR. SPOOKENSTEIN will be doing a live transformation of model Jaded Angel from human to butterfly form for pictures!
-    RAQUEL REED will be our VIDEO HOSTESS, interviewing YOU for our online segments!
-    DJ Solitude and DJ Ed Demise will be spinning trip-hop, downtempo and dance all night long! (By my personal special request, we will hear POKER FACE by LADY GAGA about 100 times that night =P jk)
-    Recommended Attire: Girls: Little Black or Party Dress – Guys: Casual
