My Canon 400D won't turn on

-battery was low
-camera said to change battery pack
-changed battery with one that was previously charged
-camera won't turn on
-tried with a different battery
-camera won't turn on

and yes I did change that battery without turning the camera off, have done this plenty of times. i'm in a bit of a rush, but after searching google someone mentioned this may have blown a fuse

how do I fix the camera, where is that fuse? what other psosible problem could it be? thanks.

and ps. I'm not sending it in for repairs, lets do this.

OK. If you refuse to send it in for repairs, the only suggestion I can offer is to take off the lens and look for this circuit breaker.

thanks, I gave the stock battery a full recharge ( i never use that one, I have 3 higher capacity ones) and put it in, the camera works again.

I was just about to take it apart too.

You had two dead batteries? What are the odds? I suggest you keep track of how many shots per battery. Your batteries may be near end of life.

No, they weren't dead. The camera is likely having issues (one forum where people had similar issues, they said the camera may have been discharging the batteries), but I gave one battery a full recharge and it worked again. I may be lucky this time, one person had mentioned that the camera worked again after sitting for a while. So.. if it breaks down again I'm definitely going for that circuit breaker.
