What would you say to a MnG in a better controlled space [something not as large of a 'venue' to host this at], with also information for Photographers and Models [small seminar type setting, lasting 15minutes] with area's for models to change their clothes, do hair and makeup, once every 3 months? Give me your thoughts....I am not doing this or anything, more or less a survey to see who would like to do something like that...

By no means did I mean this in anything negative towards this past MnG. I just was curious if people were interested in attending and/or participating in a smaller set MnG...

It doesn't matter what is being offered or where if people don't show up when they say they are going to. It's all a big waste of time and money then anyway for everyone. I would just like to create images with dependable people in any venue or environment as often as possible.

Finding the right location is key. A warehouse that exudes character is perfect. Also, such an event would require a small fee from everyone -- and a large cash outlay by someone to get the space upfront. You'd need at least 4-5000sq Ft for a small event.

i might have the perfect location.... the studio space itself is only about 1000 sq feet but its in a huge warehouse complex with lots of nooks and crannies to shoot in..... i'm about to post a few shots that i shoot there recently.... its in Canton behind the Natty Boh plant.

Tim, I work in that area, and im sure its not the same place I went to last month, but thats awesome. I believe everyone was talking about your space on the 11th, as they were confusing it with 411. big_smile
I think I have a location as well, but I have to confirm

Hey everyone; just finished looking through the registration. We had 143 people sign in, and I know at least another 10-15 showed up after we shut down registration (like Jason), so this event was a smashing success. Thanks to everyone who helped make it a kick ass day!

See you in June!!!
