I'll be teaching the workshop with emphasis on the easy but important tools that will get great glamour shots. From setting up your camera for accurate color & tweaking it like a pro to using simple tools & lighting modifiers so you can concentrate on the model and the creative process. I will do the demos with both a point & shoot as well as a professional rig!

We have two great models who both have a broad range of experience and are fun to interact with. Both like doing workshops. Charlotte has won MM's picture of the day contest 3 times and loves art and alt modeling. Daniella is published and loves the glamour gender. Holly specializes in photography make-up and has a talented eye. We will show you how easy it can be to produce your own art.

The large studio can have up to three sets. We will have umbrellas, different size softboxes, octaboxes, beauty dish, soft lights, tungsten, power pack flashes, stands, booms and all kinds of reflectors & tools.

There will be promotional use releases for the group shoot. If you elect to book a private one-on-one session after, the models will sign a full release. Mike is set for Paypal payments on sign-up and we will take cash at the event. Mike and I will be on hand for advice & pointers during the private sessions and Holly will do touch ups. The models have many different outfits and we will have props so your pictures will be your own vision, not just a different version from a group setup.

Make your reservations soon. Only 10 days to go! A sample of one look with Daniella:

I am very excited about this workshop! I am looking forward to shooting as well as meeting some new and familiar photographers from MM. I can't wait to met the model, Bad Charlotte too. I hope we have a chance to shoot together because I love pretty girls and I've been a fan of her work for some time now. wink

A little about me: I've been modeling since 2003. I've shot for Playboy, Penthouse, FHM, Lowrider and Easyrider, as well as a great array of amazing artists and photographers. I am a frequent model (and friend) to digital artists Jeffery Scott 1019 and painter Henry Asencio. (Not to name drop... but why not?? They are awesome!!! smile
I've worked in radio as a promotional model as well as an art director. I am currently employed in marketing and am also a studio manager for NMVinc./Life Image Productions which is based out of Sacramento, California. I am very professional and am definitely open to creative ideas. If you choose to participate in this workshop be sure to review my work and never hesitate to run ideas by me. I have an extensive wardrobe of clothes, shoes and wigs. I would love to bring something specific for the right project and person.
I work very hard at keeping my mind and my body at it's best for myself and for my work. I have an edge to my personality but over all I am nice and very real with people! I work out at my gym 4 to 5 days a week. I eat very clean and healthy. I love my Mac computers, my Droid cell phone, all my books, friends and family! My goals are to inspire and to always enjoy what I do until the day I die!

So let's shoot!!!! smile

See you there!!! XOXO! ~Dani Bae

Hello everyone! ^.^

I am Bad Charlotte! I have been in magazines like Coil House and Gothic Beauty and was on the cover of Chad Michael Wards' book, Dangerous Beauties (he's awesome).

I work regularly with designers like Topsy Turvy Design, Glamorous Violence, Goth Fox, and many others and I love collaborating with them, but don't be fooled. I do a lot of nude work and am very comfortable being nude.

I am a professional full-time model and am very passionate about my job. I can't wait for this work shop! Some very talented people are involved and can't wait to see you guys there!

Define "lots". Mike's studio has room for 4 different setups at once with props for easy changes... We would like the ability to vary the sets for each photographer, depending on their preferences.

In this workshop, we will be using simple equipment you can make yourself to professional power pack flashes, Norman and Seedatron. We have umbrellas, softboxes, octaboxes, beauty dish.

Also there are the secondary light modifiers; reflectors, flags, diffusion and gels.

We show you how to use them and you can have hands-on time playing with them yourself. A great way to see the results and get terrific pictures!

Speedotron swimsuits didn't win any Olympic medals. I understand some of the swimmers wearing them drowned. sad

Coming up on one day to go. Daniella is getting excited.
