Craig Seay has kindly asked me to take over the reins of the Team Mayhem thread, which of course I am happy to do.
I would like to thank Craig for all the hard work that he has put into both creating and building up this excellent resource.
Welcome to "Team Mayhem". This is a meeting place for volunteers, a discussion thread, a sign in sheet, a place to raise issues or to impart new ideas on how we may be of service to the Model Mayhem community.
In this thread we will also accept volunteers to help with the following threads and new threads will be added as we go along. Below you will find a sample of how this will look.
If you currently "Host" a mentor/help thread or contest and would like volunteers to be involved with you, you may request to be included in the above list.
Volunteer duties will include but will not be limited to:
** Assisting the Host. - This assistance could be in the form of:
* Vote counting,
* Preparing bbcode for posting by the Host
* Helping the Host network the thread
* Forming an email distribution list for notifications
* Recruiting and making contacts on behalf of the thread
* Reasonable bumping of the thread
* And giving the Host some time away (a mini vacation or break if you will). This can effectively eliminate Host burnout.
Volunteers with assignments will be allowed to use a "Team Mayhem" emblem in your choice of small and medium size to post on your profile. Just click on the emblem and you are instantly transported to "Team Mayhem".
This is going to be a revised concept and brand new thread so please join in and let us hear from you.

I know some peeps are willing to do it from a thread ages ago on DAR, so I don't foresee getting people to volunteer a issue.
It's an idea we've been open to but haven't had the time to put together as of yet. If you think you might be interested in hosting a MM PS Wizard mentor list with the support of the team please contact me and let's discuss it.
I responded to your PM Andrew. Peter simply asked that I continue to mentor, pop in to the thread, answer models posts/questions there within the thread, etc. I've been a mentor for quite a while now, so that's not asking for anything more than I try to do already.
That's why I thought I'd offer my assistance in your thread - in case someone is slowly losing sanity with their workload.
Peter is FABulous by the way, and does an excellent job with the mentor threads.
So, anybody need help with anything here on MM, here I am!

I contacted Peter like you said and he said that my "skills and perspective will be most useful to up and coming models in similar circumstances" to which I am most honored and flattered! I just wanted to thank you for pointing me in the right direction and I look forward to assisting wherever possible, whether it be as a 3rd List Mentor to up and coming models or in general wherever I may be of use.

Backup graphics assistant needed in the Motw and Potw contests.
This is a backup position in which you will be on call and will step in to assist if our graphics administrator is unable to meet scheduled launch times due to work and unforeseen circumstances.
Please contact me directly if you can, when called upon, design and code graphics consistent with the current "weekly entries composite" and "winner's banner", and if you are willing and able to devote the time and effort necessary to post these graphics at their scheduled launch times.
ATTENTION: Thread Hosts... We have a number of people very interested in helping.. please... let hem know if you have something for them to do.. and let me know who you add so that I can remove them from the list.

What do YOU mean that you are checking in?
If you want to be a Model Mentor, post in that thread that you wish to be a mentor.
If you are wanting to assist in the hosting/admin of the actual thread, check with the OP and see if he needs help.
If you are looking to be mentored, post that in the thread.
If you are just volunteering to assist within the community.. I can place you on the volunteer list and we can see if a thread Host/Admin needs another volunteer.
