RCMA Foundation Shade Help
I've been looking for ages, and just can't seem to find swatches of the RCMA foundations anywhere. I've recently stopped liking the look of full liquid or cream foundation on men, and have decided to turn to powders (ordering a few Graftobian and Yaby ones tomorrow), with Keromask for undereyes. However, I've never known a powder than can cover bad problem areas or dark spots (acne marks, etc) without looking cakey. After doing some reading, I saw that RCMA is the most popular foundation for use under powders for men's grooming. So... I'm looking for a pale, yellow based shade. In Graftobian HD Creme, somewhere along the lines of Graceful Swan and Ingenue. Any help (or a recommendation for another product for this purpose) would be greatly appreciated!! I'm VERY interested in this, I was actually going to post a new thread with the same question. I have a RCMA palette that I LOVE and have been using consistently, however I have trouble finding a good shade (or mix) for a true NC15 skin. My palette is a hybrid between KO and Shinto (bought it from Screenface London). I have tried mixing Porcelain with Shinto 1 and the intensity of the colour comes out right, but the undertone still leans more towards neutral, rather than yellow. Everything else is either too dark or much too pink/red for what I need. I'm puzzled. Any ideas? Mar 15 12 06:57 am Link I've used RCMA for everything.. but when it comes to yellow toned skin I have a problem. I have both palettes too. I always have to add in yellow from the mufe flash palette and sometimes even some white.. none of the shades imho are yellow enough.. everything feels so pink/red toned to me.. granted i've only had that problem twice in my entire time using them lol idk Mar 15 12 08:58 am Link here comes temptu adjusters very handy.You can put some adjuster to cancel under tone and then add new adjuster undertone. Good thing with temptu is because the self setting formula it will sett cream foundations better. Or you can put like suggested MUFE, Kryolan, Ben Nye grease creams or real oxides like Occ -they are great. Mar 15 12 02:01 pm Link Investing in some adjusters definitely sounds like a smart move! I'll look into the Temptu ones. Thank you for your suggestion! I'd like to hear more opinions though, purely because I've heard many people say they can match anyone with RCMA, and I totally believe that, so I'm sure there's something I'm missing here. I mainly work with Caucasians and Asians ranging NC/NW15 to max.40 so I encounter light and yellow-toned complexions very often.
