We are ending our “Summer Series” group shoots with the RANCH group shoot in Batavia Ohio. Back by popular demand is the horse ranch that was our first group shoot. This location provides many settings to work with!!! All within 12 acres of “private” property. Group shoot at the RANCH in Batavia Ohio on Sunday, August 28th at 3960 Summit Rd Batavia Ohio 45103 with pot luck lunch. Images of locations can be seen here: http://s91.photobucket.com/albums/k310/ … e%20ranch/ Please keep in mind things may look a little different than the pictures, because this is a working horse ranch and things get moved and changed around. The overall look of the property will be a mix of manicured and un-manicured. The shoot will go from 10am till we all leave. Here’s the break down of time: 10:00am – 10:30 will be registration, meet &greet and scouting locations 10:30am – 1:30pm Shooting! Shooting! Shooting! 1:30pm – 2:30pm break for lunch (pot-luck) 2:30pm - ? Shoot until your hearts content In addition to this location, the ranch sits right next to East Fork State Park. Easy access to the parks horse trails that go through very thick woods. If anyone is interested, we can schedule horses and a guide to take groups into the trails to find areas to shoot or you can feel free to roam on your own. The times for the guide and the horses going into the trails, will be scheduled on location the day of the shoot, unless we have a large number of people interested early. If that is the case, we will do online sign-ups. Since this is “private property”, anything goes!!! Feel free to create your art in anyway you wish. Yes that does mean “nudes” or anything else your imagination can conjure. Shooting “nudes” in the state park will be at your own risk. Many horses will be available for use if so desired, but an escort will be needed to make sure horses are handled properly. Some horses will be free roaming around one of the fields- they are comfortable with people and shouldn't pose a problem for shooting Below is a list of settings and 'props' available for use on site: • Any and all buildings, however some may be locked and need an escort o Three barns o And many other buildings • Stalls o Many horse stalls. Some will be cleaned out and you can reserve times for use as you'd like. • Lofts o Two barns have hay lofts • Shelter & Pond o Pinic shelter area by the pond o Pond with a dock and a canoe • All Fields o Open fields o Fields with some wooded areas o Overgrown fields • Wooded areas • Old Airstream camper (we may or may not have access to the inside) • Horse Trailers • Wagons (may be able to move to different locations) • Horses (anywhere) o Many full size horses of all different breeds and colors o Many smaller (miniature horses/ponies) horses of different colors • Tractor o Old red rusty tractor that still runs and can be moved to different locations • Old rusty Bobcat looking front loader • Pretty much anything and everything to do with horses o Harnesses o Bridals o Saddles o Whips o Ropes o Chains o Leather stuff • State Park trails that lead some very thick forest areas. • As usual feel free to bring your props and gear • Odds and ends ( available upon request)- fog machine, camo netting, motorcycles, potentially an orange 06 dodge charger with flame detail, weapons of different sorts- swords, staffs, guns, nun chucks, gas mask, goggles, and feel free to ask us for anything else. We just might have that oddity or have access to one. This is a Prepay event. However we have a gift for our repeat offenders (lol). If you attended BOTH our Vex and Mega 5 shoots, you can attend this shoot free if you bring or get someone to sign up and pay the full price. In order to guarantee this shoot, we need a minimum of 10 paying attendees. Pricing: Photographers - $20 Models - $20 Escorts or assistants - $5 MUA's & Hair stylist – Free but will be charging for their services Pot luck Lunch- we ask that if you partake in eating the food you bring something to share. We will be providing a grill, refrigerator and bottled water. A list of who’s bringing what will be provided with the attending list so please be sure to send us what you’re planning on bringing. Shooting will be permitted in all areas except the inside the main house, and you are free to just roam around and shoot wherever. Certain building may need to be unlocked, so just ask us. We expect nothing less than everyone being respectful of our staff, property and property owners/management/staff as well as being respectful of the other photographers and models. If you would like to bring equipment and set up your own area, please ask in advance so accommodations can be made for you. This shoot has many buildings and areas for great shots. Make sure you give yourself ample time to take full advantage of this. We advise that you post your schedule. You are responsible for setting up your own schedules. I am not looking to book myself solid, not to fit as many shoots in at once- I just want to take time to make awesome happen.
