help!

i need to create a modeling/acting resume but am at a loss at how to go about it.  i have a professional resume (for an entirely different career) but does the same layout work for such an artistic profession?  i feel like i have a good base with my TFP and runway work but i'd like to move forward from amatuer to professional...

all serious suggestions and advice are seriously appreciated.

thank you!

I assume it would be like your regular resume but you specialize the focus on your acting/modelling skills and replace your work history with previous jobs booked?

I'm not sure about acting, but I have never heard of a modelling resume..
Isn't your portfolio supposed to land your the jobs by showing who you have worked with and how good you are?

Are you insane???!!!!!

OP, do NOT follow this person's advice!!!! Unless you want people (casting directors, agency bookers, other industry people) to roll on floor laughing their hearts out when you approach them.

Snapshots and/or comp cards and/or a portfolio with relevant images for the market you're in are what you need - not a resume!

I know this is an old thread but even photographers need a resume. Almost every agency I have worked with recommends their models have a resume in addition to the comp cards and the portfolio. A picture may be worth a thousand words but it won't show you have experience walking the runway.
