Magritte...yes, he's the one with the apple picture.  Very surrealistic, and that's actually a better comparison than Miro.  Dali/Magritte it is!

it was the end when he took the boat out to sea and conquered his fear... a storm hit and then all of the sudden the skies cleared and he was passed out on the boat, then the bow of the ship crashed into the wall of the dome which were painted like a blue cloudy sky... and truman stepped out walked up some stairs while the "creator" was talking to him, and the door opened. Almost exactly like your photo, but replace the ladder with stairs...

lets just say that I love that movie. haha.

Honestly, yes... BUT... not now. I have had several offers over the past year or two, but I dutifully declined.

For one reason only... I want to first do exhibits and getting a better name recognition, increasing my public profile and hoping that the market value increases.

There are some people in high-art who are considering to advise me on how to proceed the smartest way (the pedigree is outstanding of those people... I won't name names... LOL but one of them is a former(!) curator for one of the big art museums in NYC.

I will see her either the end of December or sometimes in January...

We'll see.

Re: the "last work"... it's actually just uploaded... it's from a shoot I did in 2006. Never finished the final product (gallery showing and online slideshow presentation).

It's a whole series... and both played well... but Reby... the model... she IS a kickass model and all over the place (she is also further down my portfolio).

Long before digital existed, there were photographers capturing images like yours using rear projection, multiple exposures and other techniques.

Choose to be the artist you want to be. Camera or brushes or poster board are just tools.

Absolutely true... and that's why I consider myself a "visual artist" with solidly standing in the photographic realm... but using, besides light, graphite, colorpencils, acrylic and occasionally... very occasionally... almost never... oil...

Btw... I am also talking about my walking eyeballs and fishmen... etc... those could be generated digitally or with rubbersuits... but I like to put them on canvas or Bristol board instead. (That's really my reference in my title)
