Where the processed information is stored (disk cache or RAM) is a whole other story. So, crippled on legacy laptops... and may require, if possible, upgraded or new desktops... What kind of real performance increase are those of you with graphics cards seeing with PS? Apr 06 12 10:53 am Link FYI, just noticed that Adobe store has a deal running through May 6 that if you purchase the upgrade to CS5 now (at today's upgrade price) then you will get a free upgrade voucher to CS6 once it is available later on. Not a bad thing to consider for those of us still running older versions of PS as I imagine that the price to upgrade from legacy PS versions will likely increase once the new version is officially released. Only ColorStudio could do this back in 1988. In addition, it now saves in the background so you dont have to wait for the save. Adobe is finally getting it. As far as Mac vs PC.. its a NON issue.
