I think her reply had nothing to do with your ability to take a photo or your age to be a photorapher that shoots nude but a WHOLE lot to do with what her intention or expectations in doing a nude photo shoot are.
Perhaps that model is not only immature but, was looking to have some other psychological/physical/emotional needs met by having done a nude photo shoot? Who knows but, your age likely spared you an emotionally unstable model attaching herself to you!
Luckily, she self-selected herself out of the picture for you!

p.p.s. I'd bet she was put up to it by some jealous sweetheart parnter/ photographer who has such photo envy of you he or she can't see straight, (i.e. not realistic reason.)

I dunno, I'll be 75 next month and I've never heard that one (although I'm sure that a few of the sillier ones have thought that). If anything, I imagine that most of them think I'm old enough to be harmless and maybe even a little bit cute to be getting up and down and into all the crazy positions I have to get into to get some of my shots. When a person keeps putting emphasis on things and pressing the issue in most cases they will do the opposite.

When I lived in south Florida, a photographer I worked with several times wanted to shoot with me and another female model together. She declined the paid shoot because I was too old...when in reality, she and I weren't as far apart as she would like people to think. I am just honest about my age and she isn't.
Later, she declined to shoot with him because he had "gray hair."
I am still scratching my head over that one. Nude modeling isn't dating.

In a way, the girl is right...she does't want to model nudes with an older guy because it makes her feel like she is modeling in front of your dad or grandpa. But she should have done her research on the photographer before she said she could do the shoot. Then she would have seen his age and probably would have bolted since she has that issue.
You are never too old to photograph, model or act. There's always a place for you somewhere, even if it's in the background. Besides, when you get to be a certain age you are a lot stronger. with modeling, it's not about age, its about talent for the photographer.

I have found so many models that ask me what I look like and I tell them Fat short and stupit and they cancel on me a few times i shoot with a few models that didnt care how i looked and told their friends that had canceled on me that I was lieing and didnt look like i had mentiolned. I belive the reason for asking this question is some think that if your fat and short and ugly you have no other thing than to shoot nakied woman.
I wonder if they feel the same way when they have to see their doctor and do they judge them by how they look or how good of a Docter they are.

I never heard of anything like that... I have never been told I'm too old to shoot nudes and have in fact driven to San Diego with 2 19/20 year old models to shoot nudes out there... and we spent the night in the same hotel room with no issues or mistrust after we shot the nudes... and then we shot some more nudes the next day.
