Yes, the rules are a bit odd, but as they say, their house, their rules.  There are quite a few very good rope guys in your part of the world.

A little pre-Valentines Day bump.  Anyone have any red rope pics?

Happy Valentine's Day!

All very good rope work.  Photo 1 is a bit blown out on her shoulder which seems to want to distract me.  #2 and especially 3 are great!

Atypical rope images, but I like it.  Please edit your post and add "18+" to the link so there are no issues with the mods.

Well done.  I really like the expression that says "go ahead and tie me up, but I submit to no one bwa ha ha!"

You're very welcome.  Please let me know if you get to my side of the pond.  I've got 50 metres of rope with your name on it.

I really like this for several reasons.  The rope work is clean, and the photography interesting without being over processed to the point of cliche.

The slight looseness of the rope, particularly on her wrists, combined with the model's expression suggest consensual bottoming/submission rather than the much more typical images of people being tied against their will.  Both are, of course valid, but as a person who practices consensual power exchange, it's nice to see the other side of the coin.

Thank you.  My fiance does the rope work.  I'm hoping to get some more in my port in the near future.  That particular head harness was of his own design.  The shots were meant to invoke fear and I think they did a good job of it.

Sorry for he delay, I was at FetishCon, you guessed it, tying people up :-)

This is an OK image, but I get the feeling that neither you nor the photographer are really plugged into the bondage experience.  The ball gag strap is very loose and looks like it might fall off, and the rope looks like an after thought.  Finally, your expression reads "bored" more than anything else.

I have no idea what the planned effect was, but it reads, to me anyway, like an experiment in being "edgy" that didn't hit the mark.

By contrast, this image https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/33511794 really captures the emotions I usually see when I bind or restrict someone's access to the world.

Thanks for the feedback.  We weren't actually going for the D/s element of enjoying being bound per se.  We were going for the old pulp fiction feel of damsel in distress.

Thanks for the clarification.  You unfortunately really missed the mark.  DID is all about fear, struggle and well distress.

Here are a few examples that really capture the idea of DID:

https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/33538731 18+
https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/32049910 18+
https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/20734644 18+

One of the big problems in trying to recreate fetish-based genres is that there are many small details that those with the fetish notice and in fact need, in order for the genre to work.

I often encourage models and photographers wishing to experiment in these genres to find a local community and ask some people who live the genre to describe why those images attract them.  Then you have a fighting chance of pulling it off.

Nice start in the genre.  Decorative or "wearable" bondage is a bit more lenient with tension and style, so this all works for me.

Keep it up!
