I added this retouch last week and haven't received a single comment. I got the image from a retouch thread and when I put my work back up, I saw most retouchers that did it, just covered the eye with more hair, instead of making the eye visible. I am really proud of this retouch. What is your opinion?

I like what you did with the eye through the hair. Now it's time to smooth the hair flyaway's and to d&b the skin and remove peach fuzz.

I find it hard to explain where I am indicating to on an image so, with your permission, I'd like to post a copy of your retouch with just a few circles of things you've possibly missed or could improve??

Okay so you did a great job as is but there's just a few little things that would make this photo even better if fixed.
There's a blotch of make up or something under one of the eyes.. a lot of flyaways, the visible eye is a bit too white in the corners to be realistic and there's a few skin tone blemishes on the llamas face

Here's just a real quick example to show you what I'm talking about too

Not perfect because it's past 2am but all I did was fix the things I circled and just gave the skin a quick go-over.

Good luck!

I see that you did fix up her lips a bit but towards the corners they still look a bit clumpy. Where you removed the hair for her eye to be visible is obvious that a lot of retouching was done in that area. The color and skin texture are very different from rest of image. Kind of like over cloned/blurred. Everyone else said everything else I was going to mention. I do like the eye itself !
