Higher Pigmented Eyeshadows and Tips?
Hello, I was just wondering if any of you crazy talented people could give me some advice? I was wondering which brands I could go to to get some higher pigmented eyeshadows. I usually buy drugstore, but I find that pretty much everything I get if quite low in pigment and doesn't show up well, especially in photos when I have to do my own makeup. Also, I am doing a glamour/beauty shoot next week and the MUA backed out so I'll be left to do my own Makeup. Any tips on beauty makeup styles? Thanks so much! Sep 22 12 07:31 pm Link Yaby eyeshadows are highly pigmented, so are Make Up For Ever's. You don't even need a primer, so you'll get more blending control. For beauty, concentrate on making your skin look flawless- prep the skin so it's moisturized and plump. Make sure you exfoliate before (face and lips). I did a beauty shoot today using the RCMA shinto palette and this foundation looks so gorgeous- it's like velvety and dewy at the same time. I contoured lightly with a darker shade of RCMA and then applied a NYX cream blush (i heart them). Ben Nye blushes are very pigmented, so i will assume that their eyeshadows are as well. Hope that helps! Sep 22 12 09:26 pm Link Best are: long lasting effect - huge range of colours INGLOT (AMC or pigments), BEN NAY, KRYOLAN check also ICandy, Sugarpill. I am very in love in INGLOT, cant yet afford for Lumiere pallete from Ben Nye or pearl creamy palette from Kryolan - however it is in my must have plan :p I am also inlove in Kryolan aquacolour paints! Sep 23 12 10:50 am Link From cheaper brands - try sleek pallets or Barry M products. Sleek palette is for about 6-8 pound. Other grat High street brands: too faced, Urban Decay. Bourjois, loreal - maybe not that hi pigmented as other mentioned brands but some of theme are really good - I like all browns from these too brands. Bourjois is sold in Shoppers but I find their pigmentation to be very poor. Sep 23 12 09:27 pm Link My favorite at the moment is Inglot. Their eyeshadow collection is awesome! Highly pigmented and every color to choose from. Sugarpill has some bright fun colors too. There are many brands out there that are wonderful. It's really a matter of preference. You could also try a white base under your shadow to make the color pop. Be sure to use an eye primer! Good luck! Oct 01 12 02:14 pm Link |
