Nothing! I set the lights up myself- for the shooting workshops there are two different kinds of lighting on two different backgrounds (one is a soft, even light, one is a more dramatic, moody light). There are two models for each session and one outfit change, so really you walk away with 4 different looks. You do have to bring your camera and if you have your own pocket wizard that is recommended, though I will have extras for those who don't have one.

I am also doing a lecture on Saturday- for that, you don't need anything except for an unwavering attention span and a tolerance for bad jokes.

Thank you! Actually it's funny when I was growing up I either wanted to be a photographer or an English teacher. With the workshops, I get to do a bit of both.

Yes, but that's a big pain in the butt... I would have to fly my assistant out with me, I don't know any models in Chicago (I carefully choose models who I know are easy to work with, patient, and friendly for the best experience for everyone), I would have to rent lights, etc, etc... I would have to make it financially workable, and right now I'm just so busy the thought of flying out to Chicago and all that organizing just isn't appealing.
