When I first started modeling almost 4 months ago, I did what most new models do and posted pretty much any photo that I looked my best in. As I am doing more and more shoots, I am learning to distinguish between what is a good image and a great image, I know I need to have a wider variety of poses and facial expressions and that is something I am going to work on...

I want my portfolio to be the best it can be, I understand that is going to take time and I'm not going to get there overnight, however for the time being I want to condense my portfolio to having the best of my current work and keep improving from there. Which images do you feel are my best and my worst? What do you think should definitely stay and go? All feedback is appreciated. Thank you in advance for helping me out!

Quality over quantity, always. You should try to pick the best image from each look while showing a variety of genera, poses, expressions. This is not easy to do.

In other words, show us your versatility as a model but we don't need to see a polka dot dress in 5 different poses.

quality over quantity every single time. I very rarely have more than 4 images in my port here and it has yet to let me down. choose wisely. lots of images waters down the effect of your best ones.

i'll let you into a little secret. if your marketing yourself and only really working with photographers on the internet

all you need is 8 decent pictures in your port. if your looking to make top rates for your look and ability then your very best 8. be brutal with your choices.

guys/girls (but mostly guys) are looking at what level and genre of modeling you do. having the examples of this work allows them to tick the yes button before sending enquiries.

for example all you need is something like pics 2, 4, 10, 27, 33, 37, 47, 45 and thats more than enough. it leaves room for guys to think that their work will not only fit in your portfolio but help improve it in their minds.
