Editorial Fashion Workshop - November 18th Taking a new direction for this workshop. Its going to be mainly based on capturing "editorial, story telling" type photos, not your typical "model portfolio" type shots. The workshop will be heavily focused on working with natural light and creative/ dynamic shadow play. Topics will cover - Shooting mid day until sunset. Both indoors, outdoors, shade, etc. etc. - Prepping the shoot. I will cover how I prep my shoot and how I use the location to setup the shots I need. Learn to be efficient. - Working with models. Directing them in a story based movement and mood. - Learn how to anticipate the shot. - Understanding shadows to create depth, mood, dynamics and how light falls. - Setting the shot up for Black and White, or Color Images. I get asked this pretty often, so I thought I throw it into the agenda The location for this workshop will be at a new studio in Downtown LA. 6000+ Sq/Ft for 1 studio and 2500 sq/ft for the 2nd. We're shooting at both. Time will be from 10am until Sunset. Photographer will be capped at 12 There will be 4 models for this workshop. Time will be from 10-5pm. Fee: $500 ($200 reserve made via Paypal) PM me to register or with any questions, or email me [email protected] Oct 17 12 01:15 pm Link How will the styling work Kesler? I don't do a whole lot of post in my work, mainly focus on getting the stuff out of camera. Light leaks, blurs, etc, etc Oct 24 12 11:41 am Link Q: Will you be shooting? I want to learn the technique and what works for you and what doesn't. A: Yes, I'll be going over my point of view and how I utilize locations to form a story. I'll also be covering compiling a "shot list" items and locations and specifics on how to organize a location shoot, often referred as a "story board." Its not your typical "model portfolio" method of shooting. A: I would bring a wide angle lens and a medium telephoto (24-70) Won't do a lot of emphasis on straight on shots, so we'll be exploring working with different angles and getting really creative, so more flexible the better. Oct 29 12 10:26 am Link Q: will there be any nudity?
