My Dad.
We'll probably have another jazz party soon with Paul Brown & Joe Diorio.

Mostly trumpet:  Freddie Hubbard, Miles Davis, Maynard Ferguson, Arturo Sandoval, Chet Baker, Dave Normon, Dizzy Gillespie.  I often listen to the iTunes Radio "JazzRadio-Trumpet" station.  But the most recent piece of jazz I listened to was Pat Metheny Group with David Bowie "This is Not America" from the Falcon and the Snowman soundtrack.  Haunting stuff.

Kronos quartet plays Bill Evans.  I highly recommended it.

3 Quartets.........Chick Corea, Michael Brecher, Eddie Gomez and Steve Gadd.

If I was stranded on a desert island and could only have one CD.........THIS IS IT.

Being a sax play, Brecker was my idol.  His untimely death hit me very hard.

BUT..........there is a local sax player in Nashville that is stepping up to the plate........his name is Jeff Coffin........plays with Bela Fleck and has his own band.

Ciao,
Mark
